The variety is intended for forage use, including haymaking and grazing. In scientific studies, Vasylynka is characterized as a highly productive variety in terms of seed yield, the number of which in experimental samples varied from 252 to 314 units.
Morphological indicators of the variety depend on the fertilization system. When applying mineral and complex fertilizers, the variety forms panicle inflorescences 18.4–18.8 cm long and produces up to 136 reproductive shoots per 1 sq. m. The thousand kernel weight is 1.0–1.2 g.
