The UNKE PAJBJERG variety was bred by Pajbjerg A/S and served as a control sample for evaluating the productivity of new varieties for several decades. Currently, the variety is considered obsolete and has been removed from official lists.

The variety was characterized as early-maturing or mid-early in terms of the onset of spring growth and heading. During the trial period, it demonstrated stable dry matter productivity and was intended for haymaking and pasture use.
