The plant is a low-growing, compact and dense perennial, reaching about 15 cm in height and up to 30 cm in width. The leaves are succulent; under favorable conditions, the plant maintains an evergreen appearance.

The variety is intended for landscape use in rock gardens and on dry slopes, as well as for container cultivation. The plant is drought-tolerant, prefers full sun and well-drained soils, as waterlogging is a critical factor for it.
