The plant is a vigorously growing perennial succulent 5–8 cm in height. The leaves are fleshy, cylindrical in shape, and grey-green in color. The variety forms dense, low mats, making it suitable for rock gardens and container gardening.

Flowering is abundant and prolonged, lasting from early summer until autumn; the flowers are bright orange or yellow-orange in color. The variety is characterized by high heat and drought tolerance, as well as good winter hardiness (USDA zones 5a–9b).

Proper drainage is required for healthy development, as water stagnation, especially during the winter period, can lead to rot. The plant does not require vernalization and exhibits high overall disease resistance when cultivation conditions are met.
