The variety is a hybrid of Dianthus barbatus × Dianthus superbus and is classified as a mini-spray carnation intended for cut flower production. In botanical registers, the plant may be designated as Dianthus (p, a).
The flowers of the variety are single, non-double. The main color of the petals is purple, transitioning to a light purple shade at the base, with whitish spots distributed across the surface. The petal edges have characteristic deep serrations.
