The Stagigi variety, also known by the commercial synonym Giant Gypsy, is a miniature spray carnation. The plant was obtained through controlled crossing of Dianthus barbatus and Dianthus superbus and is propagated vegetatively.

The flowers of the variety are small, single, with serrated petal edges. The coloration is characterized as variegated, with a primary pink-purple tone and a secondary garnet shade. The plant possesses a strong fragrance, has a cylindrical ovary shape and a flat inflorescence profile, exhibiting high vitality.
