Variety description

The variety is an evergreen perennial plant with a compact habit, gray-green linear leaves, and sturdy flower stalks that do not lodge. It is known commercially as 'Fizzy' and is part of the Early Bird series.
The flowers are double, have a pale-lavender shade, serrated petal edges, and a deep purple center, possessing a distinct fragrance. The variety is early-flowering and capable of reblooming in summer if spent buds are removed.
The plant prefers sunny sites and well-drained soils; it is sensitive to moisture stagnation.
