The plant is a perennial garden carnation that forms a dense, compact mass of evergreen glaucous-green leaves. The bush is upright and reaches a height of 25–40 cm.
The flowers are fragrant, medium-sized, and double. The coloring is bicolored: a royal purple base tone is combined with a clear white edge along the petal margins.
Flowering continues from late spring or early summer to early autumn. The variety possesses winter hardiness and disease resistance, and requires good drainage. It is used in landscape design for borders, mass plantings, and potting, and is also suitable for cutting.
