The plant is an upright, well-branching perennial 70–100 cm tall and 45–60 cm wide. The leaves are dark green, lanceolate in shape with a serrated margin.

Large flowers with a diameter of up to 12–13 cm have a unique coloration: salmon-peach colored petals with a pink halo at the base around a dark orange central cone. Flowering begins in late spring or early summer; repeated flowering is possible if withered inflorescences are removed.

The variety has sturdy stems that do not require support and high winter hardiness (USDA zones 4–9). The plant tolerates heat and drought well, is used in flower beds and for cut flowers, and attracts pollinators.
