The plant has rough stems and leaves. The inflorescences have red-pink ray florets and a greenish-red tubular central cone. During flowering, short pink petals form around the cone; towards the end of flowering, the central petals may turn yellow, revealing the center.
The variety blooms from July to September. The plant is winter-hardy and overwinters without cover. Used in ornamental gardening, including mixed borders, group plantings on lawns, and for cut flowers.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
