Evergreen, dense, and vigorously growing shrub. Leaves are leathery, glossy, dark green at the edges with a pronounced cream-yellow center, the intensity of which varies depending on the season. The plant reaches a height of 1.5–2.5 meters and a width of 1.5–2 meters; the annual growth rate is 30–40 cm.
Flowering occurs from September to November with small cream-white flowers with an intense sweet aroma. The fruits are red drupes, which may appear in the spring after mild winters.
The variety has good resistance to drought, saline winds, and air pollution. Frost resistance is estimated in the range of -10°C to -15°C. The plant is low-maintenance and resistant to most pests; it is used for hedges, solitary plantings, and container cultivation.
