The main feature of the variety is the shape of the leaves, the edges of which are noticeably wavy and curled. Young shoots have a reddish-brown hue, characteristic of the base species. The plant blooms in September-October with small creamy-white flowers located in the leaf axils.

The variety is used as an ornamental plant for gardens, terraces, and containers. It is distinguished by high hardiness, resistance to drought, saline soils, sea wind, and air pollution. Once established, it requires almost no watering.

The plant is not a fruit variety, although it may produce small edible fruits. The value of the variety is due to the decorativeness of the foliage and compactness of growth.
