The mature plant reaches 2.5–3 meters in height. The leathery, lanceolate leaves have a silvery underside. The flowers are small, creamy-white, very fragrant, and appear in October–November. Small red-orange fruits ripen in the spring.
The variety is distinguished by high tolerance to wind, drought, soil salinity, and air pollution. Frost resistance is limited to -15 °C (USDA zone 7b). It is used for creating hedges, solitary plantings, or container cultivation, demonstrating an annual growth rate of 30 to 70 cm.
