The plant is a compact shrub with a height of 1.5 to 2 meters with dense branching. The foliage is evergreen, solid green in color, with a characteristic slightly wavy leaf margin.

Flowering occurs in October; the flowers are white in color and have a sweet fragrance, attracting insect pollinators. The ripening of the edible red berries occurs in February.

The variety possesses high tolerance to arid conditions and salt exposure. The plant is low-maintenance, suitable for creating hedges, mixed plantings, and use as a solitary plant; it tolerates mechanical pruning well.
