The variety is an interspecific hybrid of Euphorbia pulcherrima and Euphorbia cornastra. The plant is distinguished by a compact bush type, dark green foliage, relatively thick and strong stems, as well as large bright red bracts.

In official UPOV guidelines, the variety is used as a reference for conducting tests for distinctness, uniformity, and stability. The plant is intended for commercial use as a pot plant. Studies note the potential for whitefly population development on this variety.
