The Volia variety is high-yielding and widely distributed in agricultural production. Methods of index selection aimed at optimizing plant structure were used during the development of the variety.

Grain quality is characterized by a high thousand kernel weight, which averages 28.1 g, ranging between 27.7–28.4 g.
