The variety has an indeterminate growth type, which causes uneven seed ripening. The plant is capable of forming a large number of branching stages; flowers have a pink or red shade.

During harvest, it is recommended to begin harvesting when 70–80% of seeds are ripe, as there is a tendency for shattering if left standing too long. Mechanized harvesting requires using low reel speeds on the combine.

The grain has a medium to high test weight with a low thousand kernel weight. The variety is suitable for cultivation as a second crop after harvesting winter barley and demonstrates average grain yield indicators.
