The variety «Девятка» was obtained through multiple negative and mass selections from a combination of «Деметра» and «Молва» varieties. The growing season is 73–95 days. Plants have an upright growth type, a height of 80–130 cm, terminal raceme inflorescences, and white-pink flowers.
The variety possesses high resistance to lodging, shattering, drought, high temperatures, and early spring cold, as well as increased resistance to Ascochyta blight. The thousand kernel weight is 26–36 g, and the groat yield reaches 75.5%. The grain is characterized by its large size and uniformity.
