The variety was developed from a population of buckwheat from the Massif Central in France with the aim of improving early maturity, crop uniformity, and grain shape while maintaining resistance. It is characterized as one of the earliest maturing varieties, requiring a sum of active temperatures of approximately 1060°C for vegetation.
The plant is adapted to various soil types, including poor and acidic ones. Due to its allelopathic properties, the variety effectively suppresses weeds and is used as a "cleansing" crop in crop rotation. The variety is weakly attractive to slugs and allows for a reduction in the risk of transmitting specific diseases.
In field trials, the variety demonstrated a grain yield of about 1.57 t/ha. The plant leaves the soil surface in good condition.
