The plant effectively suppresses weeds due to rapid soil cover. The variety is capable of developing numerous fine roots in the topsoil, which contributes to the mobilization of organically bound phosphorus and calcium. Upon the onset of frost, the plant reliably winterkills.
The variety is suitable for grain production and is also used in forage mixtures for wildlife. It is not recommended to include it in crop rotations with sugar beet due to the difficulty of controlling volunteer plants.
