The variety is characterized by intensive growth and good soil coverage, which effectively prevents the spread of weeds. The fibrous root system penetrates to a depth of up to 30 cm, contributing to the binding of phosphorus and calcium in the upper layers of the soil. The plant is undemanding regarding nutrient levels, however, it possesses medium drought tolerance and dies off during frosts.
In addition to its agronomic purpose as a green manure and honey plant, the variety is an object of food research. Its composition shows a protein content of approximately 15.5 g per 100 g of dry matter, and the presence of vitamins and phenolic compounds, including rutin. The variety is used in breeding programs for the development of specialized gluten-free products.
