The variety is a local Slovenian buckwheat landrace included in state variety lists. In agronomic studies, it is considered alongside other local and foreign varieties cultivated in the region.
During comparative field trials, the variety exhibited distinctive morphological characteristics, including plant height, leaf shape, flower and seed color, as well as grain size and weight. Detailed quantitative data on the variety's agrotechnical indicators are presented in open publications only in the form of comparative study reports.
