Variety description

The variety is a bushy bamboo with upright, in places slightly drooping branches, forming a neat bush. The plant height is usually 150-160 cm; dwarf forms with a height of 50-60 cm are also encountered. The stems are yellow-green, leaves are dark green and lanceolate.
The plant is ornamental, non-invasive, and does not require the installation of rhizome barriers. It is characterized by high winter hardiness (USDA zone 5-6, down to -25°C). It prefers semi-shaded places protected from wind, with moist and well-drained soils.
Used for solitary and group plantings, creating hedges in small gardens, and for container cultivation on terraces.
