Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps and is not invasive, therefore it does not require the installation of root barriers. The stems are strong, upright, with a clump width of 2.5–3 meters and possible slightly drooping ends. The leaves are narrow, dark green or bright green in color, densely covering the stems.
The variety has winter hardiness down to -21…-22 °C. The plant is used for creating hedges, visual screens, as well as in group or solitary plantings. This form was obtained from seedlings after the mass flowering period of the species in the 1990s and, under certain conditions, may show sensitivity to pests.
