The variety is classified as stiff-leaved. In agronomic studies, this specimen was used to evaluate forage productivity. Due to its structure, the variety demonstrates high persistence and good competitiveness when grown in mountain regions.

Palatability to animals in fresh form is limited due to the coarse texture of the leaves; however, when harvested for hay or silage, feed quality indicators can level out to an acceptable level. The variety is also found in commercial grass mixtures for the establishment of pastures in lowland areas.
