The variety is intended for use as a turf grass and is applied in mixtures for landscaping areas with moderate maintenance, as well as for soil erosion control. In terms of its characteristics, it is close to the Kentucky 31 variety, but is distinguished by increased longevity in turf conditions.

Externally, the plant is characterized by a medium-green color, coarse leaf texture, and medium to medium-low density. The variety has a moderate growth habit. Resistance to Rhizoctonia solani is rated as moderately good, and to net blotch as satisfactory.
