The variety has the code designation IS-TF 284M2 and is characterized by high turf density. The plant is resistant to diseases such as Rhizoctonia, Pythium root rot, and red thread. The presence of endophytes increases resistance to pests and tolerance to various stresses.

Foxhound is intended for sports grounds, golf courses, and park areas, and can be used both in pure stands and in mixtures. The recommended mowing height ranges from 1.3 to 10 cm. The variety is distinguished by good recovery ability after mechanical damage.
