The variety is mentioned in official catalogs of agricultural plants as tall fescue. In scientific studies dedicated to the initial growth and development of turf grasses, the behavior of this variety's seeds in mixed sowings with legumes was noted.

Under experimental conditions when sown with legumes, seeds of the «Romina» variety demonstrated low germination compared to pure sowing. An influence on root elongation was noted; however, no statistically significant differences in this indicator were identified.
