The variety belongs to the group of rhizomatous tall fescues. It is used to create lawns resistant to traffic and climatic stress factors, such as heat and drought, and is often included in grass seed mixtures.

The plant has the ability to form a dense sward and reproduce vegetatively, although this ability is less pronounced than that of Kentucky bluegrass. The variety undergoes testing for resistance to diseases, including leaf rust.
