The variety belongs to the late-maturing group; the seed harvest period falls in the first ten days of July. The plants are adapted to variable climatic conditions and are intended for use in forage production, in particular for creating pastures and silage preparation.
Infection with the endophyte Neotyphodium uncinatum provides the plants with protection against fungal leaf diseases. The presence of this endophyte can increase dry matter yield, however, the alkaloid ergovaline may accumulate in plant tissues, which requires caution when feeding the fodder to animals over a long period.
