The variety was obtained through selective breeding from local populations growing in the eastern part of Serbia. The plant is characterized by an average height of about 42.2 cm and is a loose-tussock grass.
The variety is distinguished by good biomass quality. The crude protein content in dry matter averages 124.8 g/kg, and the crude fiber content is 290.7 g/kg.
