The variety is tetraploid (4n). It is intended for use in forage grass mixtures for hayfields and pastures. It is characterized by high productivity, especially in the first years of use, and intensive regrowth after mowing.
The variety is adapted to the conditions of northern regions. Tetraploid plants of this variety may show a tendency toward thinning of the stand after the third year of use. In addition to forage purposes, the possibility of using biomass for biofuel production has been studied. The genetic material of the variety has been used in breeding to create interspecific hybrids.
