Praniza is a diploid variety of meadow fescue, the components of which were selected in a nursery on plots with sparse sowing. During the selection process, the main attention was paid to improving plant resistance characteristics.
The variety is intended for use in agricultural grass mixtures, complementing other grass species such as orchard grass or perennial ryegrass. In comparative trials, this variety demonstrated higher forage quality compared to a number of other samples.
