The variety is used primarily for the needs of forage production. In scientific research, it is used as a standard variety of Swiss breeding for conducting comparative trials.

During experiments, the variety's response to various environmental conditions was studied, as well as its interaction with the pathogen Xanthomonas campestris pv. graminis. The variety is characterized by nutritional value and protein content indicators typical for this species of fescue.
