The variety is characterized by high productivity: yield potential is 50–55 t/ha of green mass and 11–12 t/ha of dry matter; seed productivity reaches 900 kg/ha. The plant possesses high competitiveness, which allows for its use both in pure stands and in grass mixtures.
The variety is resistant to drought, late spring frosts, and fungal infections, including Erysiphe and Scolecotrum graminis. The main purpose of the crop is the creation of long-term pastures and hayfields; the possibility of using biomass for renewable energy production is also being considered.
