The variety is intended for cultivation for silage and pasture. The plant is characterized as high-yielding and long-lasting in grass stands. The variety was developed taking into account the specifics of northern growing conditions.
During trials, very good winter hardiness of the variety was confirmed; the level of damage during the winter period was about 2.9%. Yield in trial conditions reached 10.5 t/ha.
The variety is used as an object in scientific research dedicated to the study of endophytic fungi of the genus Epichloë and their influence on the development and biochemical composition of plants.
