The variety belongs to the group of strongly rhizomatous fescues that propagate vegetatively by means of short underground rhizomes. Unlike fine-leaved fescues, this variety forms shoots.

The plant has narrow dark green leaves and forms dense turf. The variety is intended for park areas and sites with limited sunlight and is capable of withstanding moderate loads.
