The variety is intended for creating high-quality turf cover and is actively used in specialized lawn seed mixtures. The plant belongs to the strong creeping red fescue type, which accounts for the presence of vigorously developing rhizomes and an open growth habit.
During breeding trials, the variety demonstrated improved resistance to the leaf spot pathogen Drechslera dictyoides and stem rust Puccinia graminis. Comparative tests confirm turf cover quality on par with modern breeding analogues.
