The variety belongs to the group of Chewings fescue (Festuca rubra subsp. commutata). Unlike rhizomatous forms, this variety does not form long underground shoots but forms a dense bunch, which ensures the creation of high-quality turf.
The plant has a fine-leaved texture and good shade tolerance. The variety is intended for creating park and ornamental lawns, as well as specialized surfaces for golf courses. Agricultural practice allows for low mowing to a height of 8 to 15 mm. Studies show the variety's sensitivity to glyphosate-based herbicides.
