The variety forms a dense sward with a medium-green leaf color. The plant tolerates frequent mowing well and possesses good resistance to diseases, in particular, to red thread infection.
Due to its low maintenance requirements and density, Barreppo is used as a component of grass mixtures for creating golf courses, sports fields, and ornamental lawns.
