Festuca trachyphylla (Hack.) Hack. Hard fescue · Agricultural · bred by EURO Grass

also searched as: борнито

Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has an intermediate or semi-prostrate growth habit and is characterized by very early heading. The intensive development of the root system allows the variety to effectively stabilize soil and prevent erosion.

The variety possesses resistance to diseases, including red thread and Fusarium, and also tolerates heat well. Due to its low maintenance requirements, it is used for creating long-lasting landscape lawns in dry and sunny areas, roadside territories, and as part of grass mixtures.
