The variety ESFIDECLO1, known under the trade names Cloe and Sophia, has a compact growth habit. The plant profile varies from obovate to broadly oblong, which makes it suitable for placement on shelves and tables, although in favorable conditions the ficus is capable of reaching significant sizes.

The leaves of the plant are glossy, dark green on the top and light green on the bottom, with a characteristic red midrib. The leaf blades have a feature of elegantly curving upward. The cultivar is characterized as hardy, capable of adapting to various lighting conditions, preferring bright diffused light but tolerating partial shade.
