The Hanibal variety was bred within the framework of the Norwegian breeding program and is intended for commercial use. The plant is characterized as promising for cultivation in high-latitude conditions, ensuring the production of marketable produce.
During field trials, the variety showed a high proportion of marketable berries. Comparative analysis with other commercial varieties revealed differences in biochemical indicators, in particular in the level of antioxidant activity, as well as in a number of qualitative characteristics of the fruits.
