The variety is the result of breeding using the old white-fruited variety Weisse Ananas and clones of Fragaria chiloensis. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and high resistance to leaf diseases, including powdery mildew.
The fruits are medium-sized, white on the outside and inside, the achenes turn red or greenish upon ripening, and a pink blush may appear in the sun. The taste is characterized as sour-fruited with a pineapple aroma; the shelf life of the berries is short. The variety is once-bearing.
