The variety is of Dutch origin and is derived from a cross of the varieties Gorella, Midway, and Karina. During tests in Norway, the variety was classified as insufficiently winter-hardy, suffering serious damage during the 1990/1991 winter period.
Studies of pollination processes revealed that the variety has a higher number of young flowers compared to the varieties Primella and Gorella, with a lower number of flowers at intermediate stages. The yield of this variety contained a lower number of deformed fruits. The tests evaluated the size, color, taste, titratable acidity, and soluble solids content of the berries.
