The plants are hybrids between Fragaria chiloensis and Fragaria virginiana. The bushes are compact, medium-tall, 15–30 cm in height. The berries are medium-sized with a diameter of 1.5–3 cm and weigh up to 30 g; they may develop a pink blush in the sun when ripening.
The varieties are mid-season or early-season, with everbearing forms also present. As the fruit ripens, the peduncles bend significantly toward the ground. Winter hardiness is acceptable for the central region provided there is snow cover, but the flowers are sensitive to spring frosts.
Propagation is recommended to be carried out vegetatively, as the seed method does not guarantee the preservation of traits due to their hybrid origin. For high-quality pollination and fruit formation, it is advisable to plant varieties with red berries nearby.
