Variety description

The variety is a selected natural variation of the species Galanthus nivalis. A distinctive feature is the green spot on the outer perianth segments, which extends to the very edge. The outer perianth segments have a narrow shape up to 3 cm long and up to 1 cm wide. The inner segments reach 1.3 cm in length and up to 6 mm in width, accounting for more than half the length of the outer ones.

The plant has bracts comparable in length to the pedicel, and an oblong ovary up to 8 mm long. The leaves of the variety grow up to 15 cm in length with a width of about 7 mm. The variety prefers deep, loose, and humus-rich soils; it does not tolerate excessive fertilization or waterlogging.
