The variety belongs to the small-flowered gladiolus group, although in commercial descriptions it is often characterized as large-flowered. The edges of the petals are slightly ruffled, the flower diameter varies from 5 to 15 cm. On a peduncle 80 to 150 cm high, there are 10 to 25 buds, opening from the bottom up.
The period from planting to flowering is 80–100 days; flowering occurs in July–August. The plant requires staking due to the tall peduncle and needs the bulbs to be dug up for the winter in regions with temperate and cold climates. Cut peduncles retain freshness in a vase for up to 2–3 weeks.
