The flowers have a diameter of 8 to 15 cm, the edges of the petals are slightly ruffled, and a pearlescent sheen is sometimes present. The plant reaches a height of 90 to 150 cm and possesses a strong upright stem, which may require staking during the flowering period.
Flowering occurs from July to September. The variety possesses good resistance to typical crop diseases. The plant lacks winter hardiness, therefore bulbs must be dug up annually and stored at positive temperatures from 3 to 9 °C.
The variety is primarily used as a cut flower crop for bouquets and arrangements, as well as in garden plantings as a background plant.
