The variety is classified as a small-flowered gladiolus. The 10–12 cm flowers have a raspberry-red or dark purple-red shade with a whitish center, and the petal edges are ruffled. The inflorescence is dense and spike-shaped. The plant features lanceolate, medium-green leaves and reaches a height of 90–120 cm.
The plant is suitable for growing in flower beds and for cut flowers. The variety is not winter-hardy, so the corms require annual digging for the winter. Sunny locations protected from wind, with fertile, well-drained, slightly acidic soil, are preferred for cultivation.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
